Video looks fun, instance strikes me as a cross between Uldum and Gadgetzan with a strong dose of steroids.
Guild I'm in are short Warlocks so as soon as I can gear up I can probably try this puppy out.
Whilst I'm on that - warlocks got one serious hit of the nerf bat patch 3.1, though my specific spec (very specific) seems to be doing ok. It's purely for raiding, and I still doubt I'll do close to the output of damage I had at 60 and 70.

Think the guys managed to get first boss down but otherwise it's meant to be very difficult so far. It has been cleared by guilds (within 6 hours of release) but lets be fair, these people are no longer entirely human.
I ran two raids last night and found my affliction spec is producing more dps than it did previously. I'm screwed in short duration fights and can still be out dps'd by lolpaladins in protection gear but on anything with elite levels of health I think I'm competitive.
If any of you are thinking about playing btw - find a melee character you have levelled at some stage because thats where it's at this expansion. From what I can tell Paladins and Death Knights are now king PvP classes with the highest burst damage, best defences and lots of utility.
BALANCE FTW

You do realise it's probably going to get balanced soon enough and you will have to re roll the new fotm on another server in a different guild on the other faction along with Andre after he realises no MMO has the godmode he so desperately longs.

Retlol spec is balanced. Rob if you think its bad now, you should have seen it pre-nerf. SWG Uber jedi had nothing on the original revamped Ret pally. It was the fucking defining moment of OPness. I shit you not. Also, for your snide reroll comment, im declaring that i shall not play on the same server as you and am going to delete you from my Steam friends. QQ

Not afraid to say when I'm wrong - but questing in Wrath of Lich King is such a vast improvment on TBC / Vanilla WoW it's not even worth comparison.
From reviews and forum commentary the new content seemed very little new on what had been done before, and whilst this is largely the case for Instances - actual quest hubs are offering up some real treats. For example:
1. Ride atop and control a massive Giant whilst taking on a couple of thousand Zombies at once. 2. Join an alliance squad to break into Undercity to find a traitor (single player instanced). 3. Control Abominations to assault last holding out Troll City until Boss Trolls come out and watch them get kidnapped up into the sky and into a Necropolis by giant fucking bats. 4. Control Dragons for a mid air battle against other Dragons. 5. Force an acorn through your digestive system and take an elixer to force you to crap it out (requires use of outhouse).
All that said, instances are ... a little meh. They are vastly shorter than Vanilla wow and shorter by a reasonable amount than TBC. Much more like mini raids, where boss tactics tend to vary quite a bit. That said - am not vastly impressed with this part of the expansion.
Also worth noting -
1 - 60 has been reworked significantly. New quest hub in Dustshallow is good and more importantly - all previous quests have been streamlined and you don't need atunements anymore. Will most likely Run Molten Core and Onyxia at least once with my alt as I pass through into TBC content.

Lay on Hands + Divine Shield need to debuff preventing use of the other. I can live with Paladins having several lives when they have a much lower damage threshold. Now that they can burst people down as quick (and spec depending - quicker) than Cloth DPS classes they really need to have survivability checked. Fought a lvl 80 rogue / paladin combo (granted they had excellent gear) and apart from the Rogue critting me for 9k directly out of stealth (which is completely retarded even if he is 2 levels higher) the Paladin was able to take a continued beating from me and several others and just kept pulling out panic heals and shields whilst hitting for 4k (white damage). I would say that from a PvP perspective, the game is less balanced than ever before with Melee holding the high ground currently. Will reserve full judgement until I'm 80 with some decent gear.

Had some time on Saturday and dinged 80 around 2:00 in the afternoon. Signed up for Naxx 10 man around 1 minute later and joined the instance at 4:00 completing it a couple of hours later with almost full new gear.
Epic.
If I have time this week I'll try and get a wing or two of Naxx 20 done and finish of the last few pieces and then it's off to Ulduar!

Managed to down 4 Bosses in Ulduar last night myself.
Am gearing up nicely and enjoying the game - though after around 3 hours raiding last night I kinda felt spent in a way I wouldn't have previously. Unlike with Molten Core or Kharazan, I don't really want to raid tonight so the game isn't sucking me in like before - or I'm just not as addictive anymore.
My initial balance complaints still stand - almost impossible for cloth to keep up with Melee in raids (though we had no elemental shamans and lots of melee buffage). Death knights, Paladins, Rogues and **good** huntards are out dpsing me so far - granted some with superior gear, but that wouldn't have been an issue before. When I say *some* btw - I mean all, the DPS counter last night showed 2 death Knights then a hunter then a rogue a paladin a warrior a paladin then Mages and Warlocks kicked in. Might have been different with an oomkin instead of a feral and the aformentioned elemental shaman or shadow priest, but according to some of the mages this is par for the course (and for the record I'm hitting 3.2 - 3.4k dps).
From a PvP perspective the game isn't really working at all. Death Knights and Paladins are so strong that it seems everyone has rolled them and they supposedly itemise very quickly and easily which doesn't help when you're getting facelolrolled. Rogues as always basically invalidate warlocks and I seem to magnatise them in Battle Grounds (hardly surprising) and feral Druids are equally in my face.
End result - I raid and farm on the lock, but have a feeling that when my Paladin or Shaman get to 80 I can possibly do more dps or add more raid utility with worse gear. Will have to wait and see!
