Being a Tom Clancy game, how similar is it to Rainbow six?
I assume it's tactics based with no jumping, diving and going prone?
Is there a "standard" multiplayer mode? Terrorist hunt? etc -- Or does it just have a COOP campaign?

It's similar to R6 in ways, though its all 3rd person. There is no jumping, prone etc, it's more about going from cover to cover and keeping low. When in cover, you can aim at other cover and press action, and just very smoothly move between cover. There's this superb "marking" system. Basically, when you do a melee kill (which are fucking awesome. I've cringed to one or two), you gain the "execute" ability. Basically, you can mark (spot them, i guess) 2 enemies, up to 3 I think with certain weapons upgraded, ready to be executed. It's basically planning a takedown. You move into a position where you can't be seen, but they're all in range, and hit the "execute" button. Sam will basically pop them one at a time, one round to the head, the final kill being in slow-mo. It's fucking cool to watch. My best room clear involved a room with 5 guys in. I noticed 2 were stood under a chandelier. So, I marked the other 3 and moved into a hidden position. I shot the chandelier, killing the 2 guy instantly, then hit "execute", which popped the remaining 3 guys. Room clear within a few seconds There's gadgets like snake cams and stuff, lots of guns. When you perform special feats, you gain currency to spend unlocking gear and upgrades. This currency can be gained through single and multiplayer (there's that Uplay thing too, some stuff to buy with that). Those videos detail the multiplayer modes. There's a whole co-op campaign which acts as a prequel to the main game, then about 4-5 other modes, mostly co-op, but i'm sure there's a "spy v spy" one in there. I'm loving it. Love when games take me by surprise.

Gets released next week for PC. Aye, Barnett seemed hugely interested after he watched a few vids. As I said yesterday, if you wanna try it, I have it on xbox atm but will probably exchange that in for the PC version when it's released.

From what i'm reading all the the MP game modes (including their version of "terrorist hunt") are for 2 PLAYERS MAX!!!
All the reviews i'm reading are for the Xbox version, but I doubt it'll change for PC.
