Alrite,
Been playing EVE Online over the weekend. 50k players on it now so i thought i'd try it again. Gotta say i'm loving it.
Andy is going back on it too tonight. Were going to power through missions, earn loads of ISK and then get involved in PVP and Corporations once were into the swing of things.
Despite what some might say, EVE is not a giant spreadsheet. Its a dynamic player driven game with consequnces for your actions. The marketplace is just a part of it all. I've been involved in faction wars and hauling ore on an epic scale and believe me it gets intense
Some good EVE memories
Andy has a hauling ship worth 500,000,000 ISK (loads) and its too big to go through the jump gates, you have to work as a team to get it to your destination. one to protect it, one to drive it and one to plant a beacon on the other side of the jump gate so that the ship can travel. this leads to some intense moments when you go through a jump gate in 0.0 space only to find 5 PVP pirates waiting you and jamming your warp drive!! either way, you worked as a team and gave the hauler and its cargo enough time to get to safety before pirates start coming through the gate.
Also, The corporation we used to be in started quite small but eventually we built our own station in 0.0 sec space. was epic! untill we got raided as a result of an ongoing faction war and it got destroyed. Love it or hate it, you can do / be what you want and thats the beauty of EVE.
So im asking, if theres anyone here who's interested, wants to play and progress on a similar level then let me know, we'll set up a corp and TAKE OVER THE UNIVERSE!
