the general rule of thumb on this forum is as follows: stu: "HOLY FUCK CHECK THIS OUT *insert game trailer here*" si: "THAT LOOKS SHIT, " stu: "STFU SI YOUR WRONG *insert epic smack down list here*" si: "STFU NOOB... /CAREFACE " /Et cetera Et cetera First 3 sentences seem right!

What can I say? Ignorance offends me And si, Starcraft multiplayer is all about efficient build queues and disrupting the opponents income (thus rendering their build queue rather inefficient). It's tough out there, but remember - people have got 12 years practise on you. Try the challenges. They're designed to help pvp noobs.

Gametrailers review; In a word - "awesome", 9.5/10 www.gametrailers.com/video/review-hd-starcraft-ii/702433I'll just throw in, one of the things that impresses me most about this game is the engine. The graphics are really nice, but you can tell a huge effort has been put into the stability and robustness of the engine. By that i mean, the first time you play a multiplayer game and theres like a million Zerg, 100 Terrans and 50 Protoss all trading fire and pew-pew lazers and the game never even slows down, you know you've got a decent engine. All these companies who focus on just making their game look awesome, but the moment you get more than 5 units on screen and one of them takes a shit, ZOMG 3 FPS! ;D

Hey Rob - played 3 practise league 1v1 games, just happened to be 1 match against each race, and so far i'm 3 wins to 0 losses using the marauder/marines and medevac rush technique

Ok, tally now is; out of 5 1v1 games, won all 5.
Did 3 2v2's with Terry, won 2 lost 1 (lame cloaked air-to-ground terran unit, will throw in an AA turret into my rotation if playing against terrans now just to bring them out of cloak).
Was fun, still in the noob league though atm...

Yeah its a good tactic and not that hard to implement. Getting out of initial league is a bit of a learning curve though, you will often get rushed before you can get off the ground, and sometimes it comes down to who can base kill faster.
Two v two requires good synergy in the main league, and usually one player needs to sacrifice somewhat to slow down or harass the other team, whilst the other Builds a big anvil...
Good fun though, we should get a 4's team going

Well, the one we lost was more like a stalemate than a proper loss, i just surrendered cause I didn't want to waste my time.
I sent the marauders in and did the key parts of his base and the probes, he sent 2 gay ass cloaked aircraft and took out my key buildings and SCV's.
We were both crippled.
Terry and his team-mate were in practically the same position.
One that we won, the two guys knocked up 4 reapers each and rushed me, jumping up the side of my base and killing a load of SCV's. My marauders had yet to leave base, so they raped the reapers and then proceeded onto his base and delt the killing blow.
It's a lot of fun. The marauder tactic so far is generally the killing blow, but what i need to work on now is, if it doesn't finish them or slow them enough, where do I go from there?
Just need a firm strategy.
Oh and, doing this against Terran or Protoss - easy.
Zerg's a little more difficult...

Against zerg hordes, drop ure marauders - do the initial base nuke and hit sensitive targets. You will have built a factory on way to.getting starport, put double build on this and set way point near zerg base. Spam build the flame jeaps and when u.next marauder drop run the 5/6 buggies through and nuke them.

I thought about trying a similar thing with the Protoss and Dark Templars.
Race to get Dark Templars and 2 air transports. Send to the back of their base and take out HQ and workers.
Most people i've played thus far didn't have any obvious detectors at the back of their base, and even if they had thrown in a turret or summat, prioritise that and get it down, then continue base rape.
By the time they counter the stealth, it's probably too late, right?
Unless they have an airborne detector, which I doubt they'd have one that early, since it's expensive to get to them.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
It didn't really work against AI cause AI builds shitloads of AA turrets, where normal players dont within the first 8 minutes of a game.

This won't work against zerg, and terrans will just use command centre reveal.
