If it were a "game" where you just customised stuff, it'd be teh best "game" on the planet. The amount of detail in all the customisation options is ridiculous. You design a person, buy clothes to wear, can design your own clothes. You can paint/ design your own vehicles, craft custom weaponery/ etc. You can even use the music creator to create your own DEATH MUSIC that other players hear when you kill them! And all of these creations can be sold at auction houses to any player in game. BUT.. This game is a shooter that trends on MMO ground. As a result it does neither well. Shooters should be skill based.. Line up a shot, squeeze a trigger, win. MMORPG's are stats based, using random number generators and modifiers to decide outsome. The mixing of these two elements doesn't work in APB. Like MMORPG's, they don't even have headshots Also, the driving is "floaty" and scenary boring. It was in beta for a long time and I thought they'd fix this all up by release, but sounds like they haven't... Could have done with another 12 months dev time!
