When r/Gaming and the internet at large go nuts at EA and DICE over something trivial like, I dunno, giving away free shit if you pre-order or - heaven forbid - having a browser-based server browser, you've probably noticed I get a bit narked, tell you to STFU and that you should rage at Activision instead. Well, this is why. revolt-tech.com/?p=1346www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/jz61k/call_of_duty_screws_gamers_gamers_seem_to_love_it/Every game has consistently less maps included on the disc, and has funnily enough had increased DLC map packs. I never paid for a single map added to Bad Company 2, and the Vietnam pack was 5 maps, vehicles, new guns and shit. It's just starting to take the piss now.

A few points... A believe a few of the *valid* arguments were that originally specific BF3 pre-order bonuses were EXCLUSIVE to pre-orders.. Wheras ANYONE could purchase additional MW map packs. Also, the reason that Activision bring out paid for DLC is because people buy it... And this is your fault stuart -- The fact you've brought DLC in the past mearly adds to there pie chart of "those who will pay anything for a few maps" Because of this though, they'll continue doing it People who purchase DLC content, cannot moan when then company brings out more and more of this content.. Just as football fans who purchase expensive match tickets, merchandise etc, have no right to moan that players are being paid too much... It's all supply and demand. if you buy, they'll churn out more and more.. It's Business -- Although it didn't work out too great for Guitar Hero :/ Personally, I'd love free maps over time (First free Portal2 map pack comes in September).. but I don't expect it.. The company doesn't owe me anything.. I know exactly what I'm getting in the box when I purchase a game.. Same goes for films, groceries, anything.. It seems quite a few gamers though feel the world owes them something for nothing :/
