uk.gamespot.com/pc/sports/bloodbowl/images.html?sid=6182994&om_act=convert&om_clk=gumballs&tag=gumballs;img;1Now I had high hopes that Speedball 2 would be a sports game i'd actually play and like.. But reading about it over time it looks more and more like it's going to be a let down budget title. However, I spotted today BLOOD BOWL.. For those who don't know~ it's American football in the WARHAMMER world (Similar to Brutal Sports Football, back on the Amiga) The game will contain a real-time play mode, as well as the original turn based strategy mode! I think it's very exciting that Games Workshop have finally allowed a complete computerisation of one of their product lines! - Maybe it's because it's no longer a popular selling board game! Let's hope they do Necromunda next

Let's hope they do Necromunda next There was a game based on BloodBowl released a few years ago, (Chaos League) this too had Cyanide involved in it. Don't want to burst your bubble Si, but it was terrible. I too was hoping for it to be like the original boardgame, but it just didn't work and you could play it in real time or turn based. With Cyanide being involved again, I would just expect it to be a slightly better graphical game and would more or less be it. Anyway here is more info. uk.gamespot.com/news/6153234.htmloh and free java game fumbbl.com/

I have higher hopes for this one becauase it's an official GAMES WORKSHOP - LICENSED product.. And the GM people teld to hold a firm iron grip over anyone who uses their intellectual property.
With GM officially on board, it has potential to be as good as any other Official GM game.. mark of chaos, Dawn of war, Space Hulk, etc

I sure hope it´s gonna be good, the tabletop was the most excellent product they ever pushed out. Necromunda was a bit so and so, but the version they made in the Fantasy setting was complete shit.
