Hi all, Over at the [EGC] we've got a shiny new COD4 server and you are all very welcome to come and play As it's only 12 players we're keeping it focussed on close-in infantry battles, so it's set to HardCore, HeadQuarters and smaller maps. (FF is on but don't tell Stu ) Address is: Multiplay [EGC] HC HQ - 85.236.101.14:29260 Hope to see you there Fru

Friendly fire! no!!!!!!! Hehe, i'll add it to my favourites when i get back from work I'm so not turning martyrdom off though. If i kill my entire team when i die, i don't care. It'll be your silly FF on settings fault

Then I hope the server auto-bans for team kills Martyrdom sucks. One cannot argue the lack of skill for noob-tubing and champion the noob-friendly easy-killings of Martyrdom. Friendly fire requires more skill, and communications within in a team, and is my preferred choice.

Some fuck manages to kill you. He runs in to take the HQ. Martyrdom kicks in, takes him out. HQ survives that little bit longer. Or on a CQB map like Killhouse, it's fucking brilliant. My double tap MP5 and Martyrdom mean i run in, take a load of guys down, when they finally get me, i take another 1 or 2 with me, making a hole in their lines for other guys to follow. Use Martyrdom tactically. Compare that to a noobtuber, standing in the corner of the map, aiming up, firing into the air with no knowledge of where the enemy are, and he gets 3 kills from the retarded, blind fire blast radius. Yeah, skillz.

Stu, just admit it, you're a n00b I'll have to dust off my COD 4 files, however, think punkbuster (the worst invention in the world ever) needs updating. I'm actually quite happy, I have missed some FPS madness, as BF/BF2/CoD2/CoD4 have some happy memories for me. I sucked at MoH though...

Yeah, skillz. Noob-tubes is fucking perfect for headquarters. 3 people trying to take the HQ near an open window, pop in a grenade and take them all out, rather than risking your own life using bullets (as that's NOT a good strategy). The genius part is that the person has to aim and fire a grenade .. To use martyrdom you simply suck and die On a side note both can be easily avoided... Grenades are slower than bullets and if they come at you within your vision you have plenty of time to run. As for martyrdom you have to listen to the "ping", then run or just kill from a distance

Bah, Stu just blames the tube for his own lack of skills. And I´ll join in for some CoD4 when my need for gaming arises again, atm I´m just satisfying my carnal desires (Disturbing isn´t it?).

It´s pretty much standard tactics for an allout assault to get a few 203 rounds through windows and/or doorways when you´re going into a building. Pref you should have a few machineguns spraying every part of the building before you go in aswell. But most importantly I use the tube because I miss the one I had during my service, the tube and my rifle. The first two real loves of my life.
