Fair enough, most of the time I got nothing out of being in TGM either myself, but I think because there are certainly a good few who did, it would be nice for them to be able to link up with them again on the same side.
I think the main point of this discussion now is more along the lines of choosing destruction on the same server as the TGM and KDS guys and Order on another server. As I mentioned we can do this for the beta, see if its the way we want to go and then make a final decision by the 18th.

Well I won't be in the beta as my back up bag of shite gfx card wouldn't run it in a million years till I can order a replacement its gonna have to wait.
But like I say dunno if I want to go destruction nothing on that side has grabbed my attention. Hence I would prefer Order so wouldn't want to play destruction that much anyway.

A lot of the classes have similar mirror classes so wait and have a try on release.
TGM are veering towards Destruction, that said - there is still decisions to be made after people have tried things in Beta so this might change.
The main reason why I'm going that way is because most of them are decent guys and they are well organised. The other reason is that some of you will split time between two mmo's or else just go back to wow and I don't want to be sitting on a server by myself waving my dick at big groups who aint inviting.

I agree with Terry that nothing on Destruction has grabbed me like the Order Shadow Warrior has

However Si, you must agree with the point of view from Rob and myself about not being left alone on Order, not knowing anyone because the two large guilds we know are on destruction.
I will go on their side on release and as per usual have an alt on a different server for Order as yes Order does seem to have the most appealing classes to me too.

My first chioce would be witch hunter and Warrior Priest tbh -
TGM haven't settled on either yet just look more likely to go Destruction! Most of the classes have a very close counter on the other side that operates similarly. For example - Bright Wizard has hugely similar elements to the engineer but you wouldn't credit it having looked over both classes.
Lets save this arguement until after we have tried beta. I think I can push TGM to some degree to look more closely at ORder as many of them would happily roll either side. That said, I will go with the numbers on release for all the reasons stated before.
Oh and - generation kill is cool!

I am the other war around in the way that I think Destructions got the better looking classes to me and Orders only got 2 I like. But I am still going to try pretty much all of them just in case:)

Haha, brilliant. It's more expensive on the EA Store than it is on direct2drive for the exact same WAR product and bonuses

yeah, I got a discount email! niiiice.
Was doing some reading last night - I had originally thought that Warrior Priest would be ideal for me - Paladin type class with proper damage and combat healing over standard stand back healing.
After research I've found that Disciple of Khaine is very similar, slightly worse healing and buffs but more melee dps face breaking which suits me even better.
Whilst I still like the look / concept / style of a Witch hunter - which I'm simply not going to find on Destruction, through just a small amount of research I now have a counter alternative to warrior priest...

Yeah - the Order side seems a bit more 'shooty'
Engineer and Elves with ranged weapons and only squig herder on destruction side.
Then again - Destruction have more of other class architypes so balances out.
Can't wait to level through pvp - so much more fun!

I just discovered a new "internet-ism" from a hot blonde chick presenting the G4 weekly tech news.
"A triple layered fail cake" ;D ;D ;D
It was in reference to a couple of nerds in wow who decided they wanted to "run" all the way across Azeroth.
So what they did was hook up some treadmills to a wheel and pulley system, and write some custom script to convert that movement into code.
Or something.
So when they ran, it made their toons run. So they ran across Azeroth.
Truely a triple layered fail cake!

Thats actually cool - for a runner, I can totally understand why they would do that. Probably a long enough way too!
Would love to see a video of that!
Anyone gaming much over weekend?

anyways, back onto topic. I dont mind if we join a big guild so long as we play and group together, and noone powers ahead (i'm looking at you, rik).

Well the only game i ever 'POWERED' ahead in was LOTR, because I was going on holiday, upon my return from holiday, you had all buggered off back to WoW, so it didn't really make any difference. But I am obviously going to be on it most of next week, but its beta so it doesnt really matter. The following week I am on a course Monday to Thursday, so I won't get much more look at the game after Sunday until release. A week on Monday I start my new job, so my spare time will go and I will be a normal game player again
