Lo all,
as esteemed vets of WAR can i ask:
1) when should i start to think about moving away from elfie land? 2) are public quests worth the hassle as ppl tend to wander off when they are 90% done; 3) any tips re-levelling a SW? 4) when can i get to start wandering all the realms and not just elfie-land (similar q to(1) i guess);

1) Whenever you want really. You just need to run to the far end of the elf land find the flight point and hitch a lift to either of the other Tier 1 zones.
2) In the early going I would say PQ's are definately worth doing. What I have found myself though is the higher level you get the more often people just leave it when they have maxed out their influence. Influence rewards are better than the chest rewards you can get. Plus the roll system is so random, some people never get a look in (eh Si!)
3) Only dabled with one in beta, but they were awsome in Scenarios if you had a dedicated healer on your side.
4) Similar answer to 1, whenever you wish. When we rolled these characters Stu came straight over from Human land to Dwarf land to be with us straight away.
Hope that helps.

1. There is enough pve content in each individual zone to level. Really what it comes down to is which you prefer the look off (or which public quests give influence loot that you want / need). 2. I use www.wardb.com to browse through influence reward items and choose from there which I'm going to go with in game. I find some PQ's don't give anything I need so I just skip them, or go to another chapter (ie - Dwarf / Elf / Empire etc.) 3. Scenario's & do public quests / normal quests in between. 4. Upto you really, if there is gear you want elsewhere then move, otherwise chill out where you are if its fun!

Too right Rik.
Last night really took the piss.. Just though i'd do a quick public quest (as didn't have a lot of time)...
Out of 6 of us doing the PQ, half rolled over 1000, one guy rolled 500 and one 300... I rolled THIRTY FUCKING TWO!
I'm gonna be on all night tonight... Anything going down?

A healer who I did a number of PQs with the other night rolled 21, was bloody hilarious!

Whilst I like the system for rolls, it does seem like it needs a little bit of a tweak As far as anything going down. Anything you like Si, unfortunatley I'm now T3 so it won't be with me I may roll three more characters though so I can have one in each tier of the game eventually.

Looking to do something similar - will have Witch Huner / Bright Wizard floating around the lower tiers for good measure.

Yeah it just means you can do something with everyone and it doesnt take long to get a character to T2 in the slightest. Its not really power leveling si, it's just that in general I have been lucky enough to win more scenarios than I have lost by quite a margin and that makes a huge difference to the xp you can get. I am so not a power leveller! I would be shunned by the likes of KDS as being way too slow. I think they had their first lvl 40 after about 4 or 5 days. Now thats power leveling. I am really enjoying the nice pace to this game. I don't feel the need to have to get that next level, like with many other mmo's. It is more than satisfying to play all the different game types that Mythic have included. I am however happy I have my mount now, even though I still quite often forget that I have it.

Re the Mount - I actually often did similar, comes in handy though in the larger pvp areas. Actually - as cool as the Dark Elf Raptor mount looked, it was being in a chicken from behind - looked way too big and the animations were crappy (it had a bad limp).
T2 can be reached in 4 - 5 hours imo.

I did a PQ with Dimi yesterday and the group was this.
2 Engineers 1 BW and 2 RP's. Engineers run around agroing as many mobs as possible. Bring em to BW, who then spams AOE. RP's just hit the area heals. This wored wonders and we motored through the first 3 stages in record time.
Didn't come close to death! Try it.

Do quests, stop off at Public quests and join large groups and generally keep in the pvp queues. I'd say I'm no more than 6 hours played on my Warrior Priest and he is level 12.

Ah but don't forget Rob, you have moved servers so you are kind of rushing, whilst not playing catch up per say you are still trying to get to your previous destruction level ASAP. Mike on the other hand, just take your time with it and enjoy the game. Make sure you are always queued for all three scenarios while you are traveling from quest to quest and yeah keep on the PQ's I'm sure if you played say 2 hours an evening for the next week you will pretty much be at about level 14/15 if you carry on with the Scenarios. They are your biggest source of XP gain, especially if you win it. A victory in Phoenix Gate gave me 11.5k at level 20

It's only just been put in. Prior to the patch you had to run to another zone to enter a different queue, or be in a group with people in each zone.
