Not sure if it is confirmed yet but looks like the guys are going to over over to KD. Whatever the recent fix changed - our que's have gone back upto over 6 - 700.
I have a few toons, not sure which I'm going to focus on yet:
Falgorn Engineer Crematoria Bright Wizard Detective Witch Hunter (can't even stand still like a straight man) Devout Warrior Priest
Not sure yet, possibly going with Warrior Priest as I like the teamplay element. Enjoyed Sorceress a lot, and Engineer wasn't quite making my nethers tingle.
Witch Hunter originally was going to be a preference, but not sure if I'm still keen tbh.
PM me on any of the above this evening.

RIGHT Can a decision PLEASE be made, as I spent a good bit of yesterday lvling my god damned character, and if we're moving I'd like to know before I waste any more of my time! Basically on weekend we still had 2 - 300 q's after clone and on Monday we had 6-700 q's after patch. Basically means we have more time to spend in game and BG q's are shorter. Tell me when your logging again and i'll bring a healer to purely heal your crit monkey future Bright Wizard.

We rolled a few destruction on Karrag Orrud yesterday, was great fun. 3 tanks and 1 healer (typical destruction zerg machine style) and we won practically everything. EZ mode

I prefer being against the hordes of destruction and STILL managing to kick their asses and hold forts due to PURE-SKILL

Yes, skill victories are satisfying, we've certainly had a few.
But the bottom line is, faction imbalance and OP'ness will always win the greater battle.

The WAR team seem to be doing a good job.. If sure if every server is over populated by Destruction, they'd give each destruction class less power. Or maybe they should alter each classes damage range in accordance to each sides population on a server at any one time? Sounds like a hard juggling act though

Faction balance is fine, neither side is OP to the other.
And tbh, unless the Order side is underpopulated then the same number of people are actually playing most of the time.
Either way, tier 3 / 4 RvR zones are immense so it's going to be less of an issue anyway with so many places to fight.

Sounds like a hard juggling act though I swear to god they're already doing this, but with loot. The amount of Ironbreaker and Swordmaster loot i see drop, given we lack tanks in comparison to the Destruction Zerg Machine, is insane. Compare that the the very rare and "occasional" drops for more subscibed classes like Bright Wizard and Warrior Priest.

With some classes and their mirror, there is a clear offense/defense difference. Dok, more offense based, their mirror the Warrior Priest, is more defensively based. Squig Herder, far more offense based than the very defense/support heavy Engineer. Witch elf - insane DPS, at the cost of the survivability, which the Witch Hunter has more of. Marauder - again, potentially high single target DPS. The mirror, the White Lion, has a pet. That can taunt. And save healers. Defense anybody? Shaman can top DPS charts. I've never seen an Archmage top a DPS chart. I guess Bright Wizards are the exception. But that's cause they pwn Sorceror's back to the table top

I played very defensivly on my DoK and was regularly top 5 damage and top healing purely because I never died. Indeed against a 'zerg machine' as you put it, the ability to withstand the initial focus fire is surely more beneficial than burning out after a short fight.
I generally preference defensive play - used aggressivly, it means you are doing steady / lower dps for longer which usually balances out better.
In anycase, Having played both sides I've found there to be little difference so far, bar the fact that Destruction seem to have way more tanks, and Order have way more Bright Wizards.
Enginere is weak as shit to start off, have topped charts, but only where other people were slacking, and haven't gone above 15k yet in Nordenwatch.

Despite being advertised as "Ranged DPS", and they are in that they do damage at range, they aren't really a "damage dealing" class. Well, they don't excell at it (with the exception of genadier spec and spamming aoe nades). What they do excell at is pressure damage and CC. Very fun, defensive play. Doesnt suit every scenario and what-not, but is fun. Being brutally honest though, it wasn't as much fun as running at a point in Nordenwatch as destruction, a chosen, 2 black orks and a DoK, and seeing the few Order defending it turn tail and run as terry "WAAAGH" taunts them.

At level 11 my Dok and a level 11 Chosen could run into a full team of Order and survive at length - killing at a relativly slow rate, but still stopping them from moving forward. I actually think it can be done better an Iron Breaker / Warrior Priest.
Prob fine with Sword Masters too, I just think they look like pussies so amn't going to heal them.

Coolio, get your arses over here pronto. We already have 30 odd in the guild, and we have 3 very competent IB's already. Myself and Zoltan completely wiped the floor with the destruction last night in Markain Temple.
The sooner you do it the better, for obvious reasons, i'e not having got too far on your toons.
I also set up an alliance with another guild last night so we are wlle on our way on this server.
I won't be on early doors, 'cos it's footy tonight, but I may be on around 10pm slightly worse for ware after an evening int' pub.
Get on Xfire Rob and Lorcan so I can see if you are on.

Slight issue we might have is that TGM want to form their own guild - was hoping for one big guild but doesn't look like its going to happen straight away. Also looks like I'm going to have to split toons between both but might just form my own guild (Falgornia) and screw the lot of you!

TGM can have their own guild. We won't be assimilated!

We won't be assimilated! Got to agree there, White Dawn are the bigger guild here on Karag Dron. If TGM want their own guild then fine, but we are retaining our White Dawn relaxation mode on this server. Splitting toons, pah, grow a pair Either come to your spiritual home or fuck us off for the other lot
