Well I acquired the new albums from both these bands and all I can say is underwhelmed much. I was hoping for a little bit more from both and have been disappointed so far.

Killers first album was good - Don't listen to anything else... Pales in comparison!

Killers first album was good - Don't listen to anything else... Pales in comparison! 2nd was better, but it wasn't as immediate. The third one whilst not a proper album has the best song they have ever done by a country mile on it, the one with Lou Reed on it, 'TRANQUILIZE' Absolutely superb song, but then I love Lou Reed, so it helps.

GnR album will not live up to ANYONE's expectations, fucking took Axl 10 years to be happy!!! I will buy it, and I reckon I will like it, simply because it's something new and I heard some of their new songs on Planet Rock and liked them!

It just doesnt have the feel of the original GnR stuff. Appetite for Destruction will always be the best debut album for a band ever imo.

Remember though, only one person who was involved with appetite still reamins.
Also, as each song has been written over a 10 year period, imagine how many ersions he has got done of each with various line-ups?! We'll never hear the best versions, but at least its RELEASED! yay!
