Did you just ragequit this thread? Nope. However, you are starting to piss me off. So i'm just walking away. And not buying DoW2, obviously...

Now that has to be a rage quit - and I'm only winding you up (succesfully I might add) like you regularly do on this forum so...

Guys chill "And not buying DoW2" "I don't think i'd buy it" "Won't be buying it!" Think we get the point Stuart, no need to go on about it "Given the general attitude here, even if i liked the game i don't think i'd buy it." - And that just sounds stupid

" And tyranids? The "swarm"? Not much of a swarm, to be honest "
This would be the choice the game apparently doesn't have.
You can have a small number of tough tyranids, or large numbers of "lesser" tyranids - I've seen both play against me (the swarm being harder to combat). You never played with a swarm Stuart, you went for the bigger units - At least in the games I played with you.
Either way Stuart, it's obvious you don't like the game and aren't going to buy it so it's probably best to stop trolling.

I rest my case... its good to see even stuart, the emotional brick wall can occasionally throw his toys out of the pram "Of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most... Human" now lets get back to playing nice. might be a good idea to close this thread ;D p.s. i knew nothing of this game but because of this thread i took a look and must admit it looks quite good. / 's

p.s. i knew nothing of this game but because of this thread i took a look and must admit it looks quite good. I was never not playing nice! Can't you wind people up anymore. Don't lock the thread by the way - this is quite a lot of fun, though I'm surprised anyone is actually getting upset. Just as a peace offering:

I'm not upset - who really gets upset about a forum? I'm actually quite satisfied; i have saved myself so much time by realising buying this game and playing it with you guys would be a complete waste of time

New review rasies some good points: computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=208832&skip=yes* Co-Op play improves the campaign experience as with the squads divided between two players - grabbing a mate is arguably the best way to play DoWII. - Co-op is the way to go* even the same maps and locations are revisited often - Repetition makes Jesus sad * At its height this is a satisfying and certainly more strategic experience than the first game. SweeeeeetCan't wait to put many hours of time into this tonight

I bought it, for 2 main reasons.
I read the back of the box at work.
Co-op play
i have enjoyed a great deal in RA3 playing the main game co-op. I expect the same here.
It only cost me like £20.
Even if it's a steaming pile of shit, £20 isn't the end of the world...

installing it as we speak...tempted to link the PC to the TV and see what it looks like on that ...hmmm seems my optimism was naively placed....seems steam is wanting to thwart my playing time......updating the game is a mare!
