Fail. The most strategic rts I ever played (well, rts') was total anihhilation (dodgy spelling) and supreme commander, due to the wealth of strategic options. Coordinated air and sea assaults, epicness. Build a huge army of 1 mega unit and you fail. Rick paper scissors. C'mon si, get off your high horse. Dow2 online was gay - proof in the pudding, THEY JUST REWROTE THE ONLINE ELEMENT! Lol, I wonder why? Is this a new variant on the game where I beat scissors, but am useless against the might of paper ;D

Haha.. you pick the RTs's I haven't played with you as proof you don't turtle, Gratz try it in other games too It's called re-balancing Stuart.. Look at the patch notes.. Balance this, and that, not re-write.. You bloody idiot By your own account WoW is SHITE.. Because between the time of me leaving and now they've probably tweaked and re-balanced almost every class/ weapon and move in the game. far more than DoW2 WOW IS FOR FAIL AS PALM IS FOR FACE later nubs..

You can count me in for some Co-op survival style DOW II.
I think the lack of a base mechanic was fun, but in many ways it took away a key element of the game.
I like the game as is, but wish they also had more standard RTS elements as an optional extra.
I Play Chaos on tabletop so I might pick up the expansion out of loyalty!

The coop is more fun than versus multiplayer - Largely because the power of individual units- esp. commanders which was lost in versus. With this new co-op mode, only using commanders, working togethor with new wargear & upgrades.. It's gonna be blast. I loved the lack of base building.. Most RTS games have followed the same formula of base building since DUNE in 1990!!.. It's about time they started to change. I think DOW2 got it right for single player and co-op and World in conflict got it right for multiplayer... They need a great combination!

Multiplayer was "meh-tastic" in my humble opinion. I shall try this co-op mode.
And you're right, WiC multiplayer pwned...

Won't sunday the 28th be a "tinkering, overclocking and ultimately breaking the damn pc" day.
Also, u need to purchase games.. Exmples of our possible LAN PC multiplayer games would be:
Left 4 Dead 2 Dawn of War 2 Modern Warfail 2 Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Flatout 2
See the pattern?

Well, the new AvP's not out yet.. But yeah AvP3-- Ruins the naming scheme though Did u ever play Crysis Multiplayer Stuart? The team based modes were rather interesting-- With everyone having th ehigh-tech suits. Nothing too special to keep playing though - Just like farcry 2.
